What we collect
Account: email, name and how you signed in. Learner profiles: name, class, board, school and roll number if given, and the parent's name, email and phone number if given. Learning data: tests, answers, uploaded answer-sheet photos, scores and notes. Payments: order and payment ids (card and UPI details stay with Razorpay).
Why we use it
To create tests and notes, score answers, produce report cards, marksheets and certificates, and to send them by email, SMS or WhatsApp to the addresses you set. We do not sell personal data or show advertising.
Children's data
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process data of learners under 18 with a parent's or guardian's consent, recorded in the learner profile, and we do not track or profile children for advertising.
Who processes it
Hosting and storage: Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region). AI processing: Anthropic, which receives the paper and answers needed to generate or grade a test. Messages: our email provider, MSG91 or Twilio (SMS) and Meta (WhatsApp), only for messages you turn on. Payments: Razorpay.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Answer-sheet photos are kept in private storage and shown only to the account that uploaded them.
Your rights
You can view, correct and delete learner profiles in the app, and ask us for a copy or deletion of your data at support@aidigitalbook.ai. We reply within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is open. Deleting a learner deletes their tests, attempts and answer-sheet photos.
